I met Kevval bhai in 2010, on humanitarian grounds while boarding a flight from Mumbai. We had no clue that we are going to the same venue to attend a wedding function. This is how my journey started with Udan...
The word Udan speaks by itself that everybody in life needs to fly high beyond the clouds. I learned from him, their journey of struggle, sacrifice, compromise, dedication, and devotion along with his dear friend, Deepakk bhai. Later, I spoke to them for conducting a modest charity show during 2012 and honestly, it was mind blowing. Believe me friends, to perform live on stage at one go is a very difficult task, but the experienced team of Udan made it possible. It gave me an inspiration again that I will conduct a second show for them in the same year (2012), amidst a decent gathering. Well again, I was not disappointed at all.
After few years, I had an opportunity to showcase their talent on Zee News and it was a very touchy experience for me to know them more deeply.
Lastly, I would request one and all to understand their real work and genuinely support them.
अपने लिए तो सब जीते है, पर दूसरों के लिए जीने का एक अलग ही मज़ा है।
जी हाँ, में आप सब से इतना ही कहना चाहता हूँ कि ज़िंदगी को एक रंगीन कल्पना समझो, सुबह को सच और रात को सपना समझो, अगर भूलना चाहते हो अपने ग़मों को, तो यारों इस Udan को आप हमेशा अपना समझो।

Udan Foundation NGO! is focused and disciplined in their approach with proven track record of delivering measurable change. Always we support them people.
Even though Deepakk and Kevval are themselves visually impaired they still displayed extraordinary courage in wanting to help other blind persons like them. This is what makes Udan Foundation different from other NGOs. Through my long association with them, over the last 15 years, I have always been overawed by their superhuman capabilities: like forming a 60-member strong musical entertainment group comprising of blind musicians, singers, dancers and acrobats and doing around 1000 stage shows, organising massage camps conducted by blind physiotherapists, launching sports tournaments for the visually challenged and in Corona times - performing online musical fund raisers. One of the most significant events was the distribution of food rations to more than 300 lockdown-affected families of handicapped persons. They have contributed to many individuals also. To sum it all, let me say that Udan Foundation NGO is a trust which is genuinely striving to better the lives of persons with visual impairment and I would personally like to request everyone to lend their wholehearted support to Udan for fulfilling their noble intentions.
